With so many useful apps, do I need to a $300 shoddy quality fitness watch that has difficulty syncing and updating

With that being said, if you are looking for a good fitness tracker with great battery life, this is a good choice

The Blaze is a great fitness tracker too but my expectations for it were based on how it was advertised.

Your ionic should be on the same side of your body as the connector or your body will interfere with the connection; I discovered this one day when I left the ionic on my left wrist because I forgot my Road ID

I could barely see my Blaze screen out in the sun, but with the Ionic, I had no problem seeing the screen at all while walking in the Florida sunshine

Seems like doing updates only work as long as your phone never goes into the lock screen mode while it's updating which is never a short fast processes or it tells you the update failed even tho it doesn't appear it did

Worked for a few months and after that have had major syncing issues with my android phone

I'll give it a few more days to see if the syncing issues work out.
