The city is fantastic, much more impressive than Vice City

Though I enjoyed "Vice City" tremendously, I won't be playing the next installment of "Grand Theft Auto."

They could have slapped nearly any price on this gem and it would be money well spent, as there simply is no way possible that you will not enjoy San Andreas if you liked GTAIII and Vice City

If you loved GTA3 and Vice City but were left wanting much much more, you might love GTA:SA

Just exploring the city is worth the price of admission.

Companies will make these products but we can protect our kids if we want to.

Product was great but having to download the other software was NOT easy and took a long time

enables you to download the san andreas multiplayer mod which opens it up into a whole new world with new possibilities to play with ur friends.five stars i would recommend this product and seller to everyone

I love the whole realistic storyline and the freedom of gameplay

The main appeal of the Grand Theft Auto franchise has always been the freedom it gives the player to explore vast amounts of territory and cause mayhem as he sees fit

There is no game out there that can even come close to GTA, the freedom is almost GOD LIKE

While the voice acting is great, the story is not really coherent and doesn't tie anything you are doing together in a meaningful way

Well the graphics are pretty good with frame rates of 60+ except in certain areas where they drop down to the 30- range.

And the graphics are simply stunning and crisp

I like the special guest voices (like a corrupt Samuel L. Jackson) and the 5.1 surround in general, and have fortunately not experienced any of the numerous reported sound or running problems.

Parents be warned - even without the infamous "Hot Coffee" mod, the 18 rating on this title means what it says

The San Andreas game, doesnt automatically come with the "Hot Coffee

Easy to unlock hot coffee mod and easier to get into the feeling of L.A gangs and gangstas

Second, Rockstar Games is offering a patch on its website you can apply to the game that will COMPLETELY DISABLE Hot Coffee, making the mod unusable

Very fun game especially with the Hot Coffee Mod, needs a little tinkering to get working on Windows 8 though.

In fact, strategically doing side missions can turn a story line mission from nearly impossible to fairly easy (as you'll have better weapons/skills/cars to work with)

Now almost 10 years later Rockstar has treated us with their latest effort, GTA: San Andreas

I loved GTA 3 and Vice City, and was really looking forward to this game.

Little sad this thing apparently takes some kind of necromancy to work right on Windows 7.

However it boggles me that the great buying public can on the one hand be happy with a game that is so full of violent crime and profanity and on the other slate it for showing mild pornography - much worse things can unfortunately be found using any Internet search engine :o(.Its hours and hours of interactive entertainment

Dance music and Funk each get their own stations yet it hardly seems worth it, although too much choice is never a bad thing

San Andreas does a few things wrong but most everything right.

I picked up my Saitek gamepad to play with the game instead and things got a bit better.

If you like, RPG's, first person shooters, or just games to kill people this is the game for you!

The rating system is to educate people on the content of the game, not to punish the publisher by refusing to sell it

one of my most favouritest parts is when you kill people that aren't nice to you

driving around listneing to gangsta music and shooting people is fun.

For the people who are saying you can't access sexual contact without entering a code are wrong.

It is violent and has some sexual content as well as some incredibly foul language

As someone else stated, the foul language almost becomes obsessive and overdone.

Yes i know this installment sets you up as an african american "gangsta" in the 90s, but the language of "da hood" gets annoying after a while

He's immediately grabbed up by Frank Tenpenney and Eddie Pulaski, two deeply corrupt police officers in C.R.A.S.H., the anti-gang force.

The police is very strong, as in the other games, they react against you when you comit a crime

Dozens of side missions, besides the main one to complete including taking over rival gang territory, escaping police, a few stealth missions, thefts, shootouts, car chases, burning certain plants, etc

Does this game provide you with COP skill abilities and decision making like I see in this link for instance

CJ must travel all over the state to bring down drug dealers,corrupt cops and gang bangers

when you think of grand theft auto, you think of riding around, doing whatever you want, mugging people and killing cops, right?

The cops in San Andreas are corrupt, but not that corrupt

Completely overrated, how many cops can you kill and new-age "mobsters" can you knock off with

There are human scumbags trying to survive in a life of crime, not "gangs" fighting like if it was freaking Baghdad

The AI of some of the rival gangs is a little clumsy too, as they will simply start shooting at you if they see your colors, despite the presence of squad cars or bike cops across the street

A fun and engrossing game for adults, but let this be known: if you let your under-18 child play this game, you are an awful parent and deserve to have social services come and whisk your precious babies away

However, at the risk of sounding like a pro-censorship anti-video game activist (which i am neither), I have to strongly discourage parents from allowing their wee little childrens from buying this game

If parents had bought it for their kids, then realized the stuff that was in the game, the parents should be blaming themselves, not the producer

Hence the soft censorship of the lazy parents who terrorize businesses, the government and the rest of us to babysit their children for them
