And also, because JBL insisted on slapping me in the face with their red logo across the center while it is already on the side bass piece
I love JBL, I have their Xtreme speaker for when I'm working.
JBL told me if the speakers time out when connected (if you have media not playing for example), they will lose their link and you will have to reconnect them
The stereo link works seamlessly with other JBL portable speakers
I'm impressed with this portable JBL Flip 4 Bluetooth speakers, great Bass && Treble...
The totally ugly huge PLUS and MINUS buttons with the minimal tiny bump on the top end for bluetooth activation and the small round dent with a negative line for power
It will cut out sooner if you go into another room or break line of sight.
There is signal loss with distance + no line of sight, but I take it to different rooms with-in 30 feet without any problems.
If you want something portable, light weight and convenient I highly recommend this speaker.
The bottom line is definitely don't let these reviews trick you!
JBL app a little hard to navigate to set up stereo with two speakers
The app for Logitech is a nightmare, unintuitive, plus there are many available all from
The app is terrible, it only works if you allow it access to your location
I had considered MiniRig due to hifi sound quality, size, unlimited daisy chaining, great app options and dedicated subwoofer but ultimately the lack of play/pause/volume buttons on the speakers as well as price drove me away
It's also good enough to work as an announcing system with the right app.
I called JBL for replacement and was basically left high and dry despite the obvious design flaw
If you want something portable, light weight and convenient I highly recommend this speaker.
to whom it corresponds I have to make it known that the battery is not working as before now it only works for 1 hour half it is supposed to be a good quality product I would appreciate them doing something about it thanks
Going to look into different speakers that are not only water proof but shock proof too, did not think this thing would break as fast as it did
I'm not sure if it's a fluke or a design flaw, but I'm pretty disappointed.
its almost as if its set to malfunction..mine also worked great sounded good up until right around 2-3 month marker it no longer would hold a charge(needed to be constantly connected to power source), wouldn't stay connected, wouldn't turn off (using power button) and then started to make some weird crackling noise
I'm also not wild about all the loud, weird noises it makes going on and off -- like a spaceship taking off and landing
Was impressed by these speakers, you can really blast this thing without any static or funny noise
The battery is very bad, it goes off by itself, it makes strange noises
I hate the noise that it makes when you first turn it off and on
