After spending a lot of time getting more experience with the Lens Align target I found the my E version front focuses equally at all focal length requiring a +3 adjustment in fine tune

It does produce sharper corners than the “G” version, particularly at larger apertures (smaller f numbers) but by f8 the two become indistinguishable from the center to the corners in my opinion

On the other hand, landscapes seem to benefit dramatically from this new formula, as the whole frame appears evenly focused and it is quite easy to sharpen in post and for printing.
