Nikon W300 Waterproof Underwater Digital Camera with TFT LCD, 3", Orange
Color:Orange
Show the world what you're made of. Some people are happy to take pictures from the comfort of the sidelines. That's nice. But if you want to be part of the action, you need a camera as tough as you. For those thrill seekers and action...
Above I said that I missed Panasonic's "vivid" color setting
Today I found the "vividness" slider setting within the exposure menu in auto mode on the W300; it's just like the "vivid" color setting on my old DMC-FX30 but better, because it offers more control
I also felt that the colors weren't great in the photos

It does NOT include a memory card, you must purchase that separately!I contacted the seller on 07-15-17 to inquire why the protective cover is shown as part of the product images but not included, and requested information on purchasing the cover
It is so nice to take it directly into the water and not have to mess with a protective cover.
One is required to scroll down the page and must click to expand the "Technical Details" area, then read at the very bottom that one is only receiving the camera (minus the protective cover shown), a strap, a USB cable, battery, charging adapter, and a cleaning brush
BE ADVISED- my camera did NOT include the rubberized looking protective cover shown in the product photos

It does have some internal memory, but I'd definitely recommend purchasing a memory card, as well as additional batteries for this camera
Order a wall charger and a few extra batteries from Amazon so you can always have a fresh battery at the ready and not have to use the wall charger, connected to the phone, with the water resistant door open.
The camera is great, but I dropped it from a distance of 2 feet onto a carpet, and the plastic piece holding the battery in place broke off.
That said, takes good pictures, waterproof so far, good battery life.
My husband has a Panasonic TS5 that he bought in 2013 which takes pictures as well as the Nikon and is easier to use
