This is definitely a big watch, but I personally like the size coming from G shocks

Now on to the positives.... well, actually only one positive - the display is absolutely amazing.

Loved the styling and ruggedness, and the upside of having such a HUGE watch is that the display from a smartwatch perspective is super generous.

I have owned several other recent Android Wear watches like the Moto 360 2nd gen, the Huawei watch and the 1st gen Moto 360.

I picked this watch up about a week ago from Best Buy (they price-matched the Amazon price) and received the Android Wear 2.0 update OTA last night

This is a bigger watch which I like, but at the $400 price point I believe the huawei watch is the better option since you get a heart rate monitor and a sapphire crystal at about $100-$150 less than the Nixon

this watch is just awesome...too many options and bell and whistles to list in my rant

Keep in mind that usually higher end watches include a sapphire crystal which alone makes the huawei watch a better option

I am an iPhone user so the features I can use are somewhat limited such as replying to a text message

well-Nearly impossible to scratch face (banged against rocks while hiking, no signs of wear and tear)-Easy to manage controls-Works fine with iOS (can't text/call from it, but good for notifications and updates, as well as GPS alerts)

that I have are colorful analog faces and on my previous LG G Watch R, I was able to still fully enjoy the crisp, clear watch face, just dim.

Some time in rice and some patience (I didn't want to send it back again) and the BME280 eventually recovered.

If you're an iOS user like myself... don't waste your time.

3 times the charging connectors went bad and once water got in while using it in the pool (they tried to blame me saying I left the mic clip open, which I never use).

OK Google works great the few times I tried it.

- Nixon was cool with replacing it - but it broke again - sent it back - and it broke again - they just gave me 2 other watches of same value.

Nixon has to protect the charging pins, and increase battery life before I buy another Mission

Trash, Trash, Trash with IOS, Nixon just released the supposed update that should give us the Mission pro app, nothing works now, have tried everything from clearing my phone, re-setting, un-pairing, re-starting, deleting, and nothing

I was sold on the Mission for it's extreme weather capabilities, such as, water resistance depth, and icy conditions resistance

Except that charging plates were ruined after 3 months, rendering charging almost impossible

Nixon is by far my favorite watch brand, so I was hoping that the negative reviews were fake, or just wrong.
