I considered sending the TV back, but there are not many small screen TVs available, and the reviews I read for most of them were not all that great

Perfect size and great picture when viewing directly into the screen
Picture darkens when viewing at an off angle
That being the case, and considering the narrow vertical range for viewing the screen, the manufacturer should have designed the TV's mount to be tiltable so that the screen could be tilted back for better viewing
This way it is easy to adjust screen for perfect viewing.

I would think doing so would have improved the quality of the TV's sound
