I took it to a Samsung shop and they disabled as many of the built-in apps as they could, but I am still limited to about 200 mb of space.
This phone is lovely and have nice features, a large screen and a great camera, my only problem is the lack of memory space.
If you try to use the Google Now Launcher and the other "cool" Google apps, you will run out of space QUICK.
There are a ton of useless apps consuming most of the space and they cannot be installed because Samsung thinks more of themselves than their customers
The phone comes with 8 gigs of internal memory but 7 gigs are wasted on the bloated useless rom image samsung used and apps samsung put on it
Before you say just get a memory card I already have, you can save some stuff on it, but there is still a small percentage of internal memory being used and remember all but about 2 GB are taken up by useless apps.
I was able to root the device and take some of the useless samsung apps off to free up some
