those are amzing headphones even after 4 hours of intense gaming it was still comfortable
The sound is then dumped right into the headset around your ear as it follows the cord up
They have a different sound that is much crisper than some of the USB headsets I've previously had that honestly sound great for music but end up being overpowering with the Bass, Treble, or Mids, while Gaming.
Great sounding headset, Good fidelity for music as well as gaming

Now, for the sound, I love the open-back design of these
The open design is also really nice for when you are talking into the microphone
The open design is great for keeping your ears ventilated
Other comments: The open-back design let's outside noise in, which is great if you want to be aware of what's around you, but not great if you want to block out noise
However, you should be aware that the openback design will be a problem if you have a lot of background noise

instead of the amazing leather-wrapped heavenly marshmallows in the ZEROs
The sound is great, the mic is great, they are comfortable, the plush ear covers are far more comfortable than fake/leather ones (and they never peel, like the fake/leather ones do).Problem is, after nearly 2 years of use I can hear a rattle
The cups are soft and they are a massive improvement over the fake leather on my previous headset
I also recently bought the Sennheiser HD 280 Pros, they sound but not as good as
If you're looking for noise isolation these aren't very good in that department, but I game in a quite
This replaced my Logitech G35’s since it does not work on Windows 10
IF you don't have much noise around you (i.e. you can carry on a conversation with someone next to you as though you're not wearing headphones).GAME ZERO: closed design, hotter and GREAT passive noise isolation.
GAME ONE: open design, cooler and NO passive noise isolation.
CoD IW - openness nearly as good as GSP 500, but more powerful sound
The cords that came with the headset have bent at the connector to the headphones, which I'm not fond of, and am not too worried as it hasn't impacted the sound quality nor overall performance.

The mic is fantastic, it cuts out a lot of ambient noise, the oversized ear cups are super
CoD IW - openness nearly as good as GSP 500, but more powerful sound
This would NOT be a good headset for someone who significant ambient noise
I usually have music on for like 80% of my free time when not gaming, unless I'm watching something, and I also listen while I work (although for that I typically prefer the freedom of speaker audio)
The side volume knob on the right sets it apart from some older headsets I've used where I'd waste time trying to figure out where the up/down volume buttons were.
So overpriced, I actually took the time to write this review
The 1st time I used them, I played some Destiny and it was like audio overload
Both the one I purchased and the replacement I received after returning the first were both plagued with heavy buzzing any time general lower frequencies were introduced
are horrible cause you can hear the background noise like

The mic sound quality is great, my voice is crisp and clear, very important in games like Battlefield where there is a lot of action and background noise at the same time.3
say that my voice is very clear, and there is not too much background noise
but they only lasted about 2 months before the cord broke
No cracking, rattling, broken microphone booms, stripped wires or anything, even with them taking extra abuse the past 6 months being used with an HTC Vive VR headset
I bought the headset in January 2018 and it broke in 3 months!

I've been playing fps games since the original wolfenstein, I played counter strike 1.6 professionally and have gone through dozens of headsets over the years
I purchased this headset for playing Counter Strike and DOTA 2 on the PC, as well as partaking in work conferences over WebEx after the Siberia V3's from Steel Series left me wanting more
If you are playing games like counter strike this is ideal for hearing footsteps and round winning noises you need to hear

I think I would rather try out some cheaper turtle beaches if you are solely using it for gaming.
Before that, I had turtle beach (bad mistake), they were slightly uncomfortable and had not that great of sound, mic was very mediocre and they broke right after warranty
Well I switched to PC gaming and had been using my old dusty Turtle Beach
I also have owned turtle beaches, corsair vengeance 1500, and steelseries serbias before this headset, all of them don't even get close to the quality of this one
