Reviews around color (4.49 of 5)

  • This is a really solid modern sonic game it features fun and inventive level design, killer music and really bright beautiful colors (pun definitely intended?)
  • It adds all the elements that people loved about the day time stages in sonic unleashed and takes it now into space against Dr. Robotnik's badniks robots and a amusement park that has everything from shiny colors to even a foot planet that will make you hungry
  • Sonic Color's takes the best from Sonic Unleashed and that would be the "day time stages"
  • This is a really solid modern sonic game it features fun and inventive level design, killer music and really bright beautiful colors (pun definitely intended?)
  • Here's to hoping that future sonic games are as good as sonic colors was.

Reviews around graphic (4.31 of 5)

  • Lots of game boards to play, good graphics and animation
  • In fact I believe the graphics in sonic colors is as good as the super Mario galaxy games graphics are
  • Good graphics and sound, experienced unimaginable Colors Sonic game ....
  • You would probably think that it would fall flat as it did in other Sonic games
  • The graphics in Sonic Colors are incredible because of the amount of detail and color that the worlds and characters are given

Reviews around mario (4.30 of 5)

  • So this had everything in it that New Super Mario did but, different
  • In fact I believe the graphics in sonic colors is as good as the super Mario galaxy games graphics are
  • This is no "Super Mario Galaxy 2," nor is it a "Shadow the Hedgehog
  • You would probably think that it would fall flat as it did in other Sonic games
  • It's not in the same league as Super Mario Galaxy, but it's a game that's well worth your time

Reviews around pace (4.21 of 5)

  • Then there are the Sonic games like Colors which are super fast paced but also offer some of that
  • You would probably think that it would fall flat as it did in other Sonic games
  • I even enjoy playing it, though not being familiar with Sonic games, it is a different experience being so fast paced.
  • These aliens must all have ADHD, because they can't sit still for a second, causing you to curse the game as you wrestle with getting them to go the right way
  • If you love fast paced Sonic games, than you will love this one.

Reviews around controller (4.10 of 5)

  • The Wii remote/ Nunchuk, Classic Controller, And Gamecube controller
  • There are many different control schemes: the Wii remote and nunchuck, the Wii remote by itself, the Gamecube controller, and the classic controller
  • To even attempt this game you really need a gamecube or classic controller, the others shouldn't even be considered an option
  • Personally I recommend the classic controller/pro or the GameCube controller because playing sonic colors with just the Wii remote is sort of uncomfortable (it works well in 2-D levels but not in 3-D levels
  • Controller Delays

Reviews around music (3.97 of 5)

  • The music in sonic color is really good and the voice acting is done well
  • Sonic Color's is a fun game with great graphics, great voice acting, fantastic music, spectacular level designs, and most importantly fun game mechanics
  • The fast-paced gameplay, fun power-ups, replay value, eye-popping graphics, and awesome music make Sonic Colors a great gaming experience
  • The storyline is childish and it makes you suspend your disbelief.5)The music gets annoying because it is very repetitive
  • The game is beautiful as all sonic games are, and the music is pretty nice too

Reviews around play (3.78 of 5)

  • okay, so I have only truly liked the Sonics from Genesis to Dreamcast, but when I played Sonic Colours I was blown away by the humour and fun game play.
  • You would probably think that it would fall flat as it did in other Sonic games
  • These aliens must all have ADHD, because they can't sit still for a second, causing you to curse the game as you wrestle with getting them to go the right way
  • And the music is very sooted although I miss the Crush 40 playing in the background
  • The game is "Sonic COLORS" on the Nintendo Wii; it is (to me) the best 3-D Sonic game I've ever played since "Shadow The Hedgehog" on the Gamecube

Reviews around sonic (3.67 of 5)

  • Thinking this is just another one of Eggmans evil schemes Sonic, along with Tails, travel up to the amusement park to find out what is really going on
  • But, my only complaint is that sonic is a little hard to control at times but other than that, this game is one of the best on the wii
  • But the way it's portrayed is like that of a classic Sonic game
  • Now music in this game has got to be one of my favorite Sonic soundtracks ever
  • Sonic and Tails are suspicious of his motives, so they decide to sneak in and find out what the egg-head is up to

Reviews around level (3.47 of 5)

  • These are a fun addition to the series, and allows for much more creative level design without slowing down the Sonic speed that we play the games for
  • Its great to play, especially when it acts like a true Sonic game, but too many slow downs and poor levels design just make the game slow down and not fun
  • Fun, Sonic levels no Tails/Knuckles/Rouge side questsEntertaining, colorful graphicsAwkward but sometimes humorous dialogueFitting somewhat catchy musicCons:Awkward platforming level
  • Unfortunately the thrilling high speed Sonic levels only represented one third of the game, with the other two thirds taken up with the painful hack and slash levels of the `Werehog' (don't ask) and an abundance of soul destroying RPG-light hub worlds were the player must hunt down a series of medals in order to play the main acts
  • Now if you liked sonic unleashed daytime level dashing through stages and such, sonic colors is an expanded game on that concept and the stages are wonderful, might you say very "colorful"

Reviews around challenge (3.22 of 5)

  • You would probably think that it would fall flat as it did in other Sonic games
  • My kid loved the challenge of the game and the cutesy story
  • Sometimes though, a little extra challenge would have been nice.-The game is kind of short
  • The levels are challenging and most of the game-specific power-ups are creative and fun
  • And just like the originals, it is easy to learn and pick up, but is challenging throughout

Reviews around dialogue (2.33 of 5)

  • The dialogue is a little cheesy but you still love it all the same
  • You would probably think that it would fall flat as it did in other Sonic games
  • PRO'S:- Interesting plot choice (amusement park-themed levels)- Graphically soundCON'S:- Horrendous dialogue between Sonic and
  • Is the dialogue bad like in some of the other Sonic games
  • First, the story itself is not bad, but the dialogue is insufferably terrible.

Reviews around character (1.44 of 5)

  • Sonic Colours is FUN!, controls well, features stunning worlds that capture ones imagination, no camera problems, beautiful graphics, awesome music throughout, expansive platforming areas, switches seamlessly from 3D to 2D sections, Sonic is the only playable character, no RPG levels, no annoying side missions, fun boss battles with a gradual learning curve, amazing final boss fight, a new set of power-ups which allow Sonic to change form and access different parts of the level, multiple routes, great replay value, awesomely designed menus and the voice acting / cut scenes are not even annoying
  • I've always thought he was a cool character, and have endeavored to like his games, but they just never did it for me
  • These aliens must all have ADHD, because they can't sit still for a second, causing you to curse the game as you wrestle with getting them to go the right way
  • You would probably think that it would fall flat as it did in other Sonic games
  • Awesome game, really bring back the sonic game in a unique way, no bad not many characters show up, but still, awesome way to remember and enjoy being Sonic.
