Small. compact, versatile, fun, sleek, good battery life for the asking price (about 12 hoursish straight through), fantastic SDHC card support, good wifi and overall a solid product.

If all you want to do is, literally, point your camera and take a picture, then this is a fine little device that takes decent quality photos and offers a nice zoom

This is a great update to Sony's entry level cmos compact point and shoot, and paired with a mobile device will give you better pictures than an Iphone 6 Camera (which has a smaller sensor size).I bought the wx80 when it came out in 2012 and was very happy with it: great looking auto mode shots and great black and whites, easy wifi direct transfer to mobile devices, super compact form factor

The only negative so far is that the small size makes it easy to put your fingers on the lens.

I honestly can't imagine a design meeting where someone said "we're going to have program auto where they can adjust a few options, but then we'll have intelligent auto and superior auto, two modes that are so close and ambiguous in naming convention that the user will never know which one is the best choice at any particular time."4

Several months in I finally called Sony because this shadowing problem had become very bad & it had another issue that occurred a couple of times -& camera was still under warranty

I use it more often without the flash than with, but this shadowing problem gradually began to worsen in size & density (sometimes it wasn't as bad & sometimes it was quite bad & sometimes the shadowing also appeared in the upper left corner)
