I learned to IGNORE all that stuff and just have fun playing the GAME and having a great time
D-PadOverall, I think that the Playstation has better and bigger selection of games, better controllers and better gameplay than the N64, but the N64 has much faster loading time and better racing games

PLENTY of shooting games that you'll have a surprising amount of fun playing through, such as the Medal of Honor and Resident Evil series, Silent Hill, Dino Crisis 2, Quake II, Doom, MDK, all kinds of Mega Man games, and who knows what else.
There are so many good games like Doom, Hexen, Duke Nukem, Resident evil, Silent hill, medal of honor, twisted metal
NONE OF THAT!All these games people criticize today for being old and unplayable such as the Silent Hill and Resident Evil series... give me a *break*.

Also, the PSX is one of the easiest consoles to modchip
I have a N64(64bits),Play Station(32bits),Game Boy Color(8bits) ,NES(4bits),and Sega Genesis(8bits)and 31 games between them(17 are Play Station)but,none of them compare to the almighty PLAY STATION.In other words Play Station is the best console on the planet (yes,better than X-Box)!
AND GROWING.It's the best selling console EVER.You can get tons of demos from sony and Play Station Underground
The Sony Playstation (PSX) is still one of the best consoles on the market as far as I am concerned
Don't bother turning the system on it's side or upside down, doing so will only further ruin the Playstation and your disc and is probably also a fire hazard

Sony's successful Playstation console was just EXCELLENT if you ask me.
But for younger kides i would have to recomend a playstation because of the simple controls and larger libary
Hopefully Sony will learn from this and the Playstation 2 will be a lot more durable.
