Portability - there are NO load screens on the switch in portable mode, if you don't count fast travel
I was very disappointed to find out that the game cannot play in portable mode with the controllers attached to the sides of switch body
Repetitive Gameplay - Without spoiling the story, the main campaign got to a point where it felt like such a mindless, drawn out grind that I toggled the difficulty to easy mode just to bulldoze through it

Other wise I don't recommend this game
and I do have to say that the quality and attention to detail, and the freedom of space exploration was very well executed by Ubisoft, despite the repetitive missions

If you're looking for a fun flight combat game with tons of replay value, then I strongly recommend picking this game up
but characters like Shaid and Judge and ships like Hunter's Lance and Mason's Zenith are all cool looking and add a lot of context and visual texture to the game

Still, there are some slick ship designs and the ability to switch ship parts really adds something unique and tactile to set the game apart.
Unfortunately, the Starlink ships are not nearly as well designed or manufactured.

I personally think the toys make the game even more awesome
toys were compatible with regular legos (and gave us some minifigs you can't get elsewhere like Gizmo and Beetlejuice)
Starlink actually allows digital purchases to grant you these optional accessories taking away the clutter of having a plastic toy collecting dust some day
One is the fact that it's a toys-to-life game, like Skylanders, etc

The digital versions do all the same things if you despise this concept, although you are then essentially just paying for extra lives
The toys are 100% optional and to get the digital versions of the toys are just about 50% cheaper
There is unfortunately one clearly superior version of this game.
It would actually be cheaper to buy the digital version to unlock that content for the physical version (if that even works), but I wouldn't advocate that because right now the physical version seems to be a blatant rip-off
So the game itself is great and the Switch iteration is probably the best version of the game
