As a child of the 1980s I lived Super Mario Brothers in this you will find parts that give great homage to those classics in gameplay as well as graphics
so i can play this game on our 65" inch screen without any interruptions and beautiful graphics and colors
This really frustrated me as I was excited to play the game.
The graphics are great for the Switch and the game play is solid.

Fun to play and my five year old son can play it as well.
My son loves this game, but the plastic parts broke on the game card and now he can't put it in and out of the gaming device, so it's basically useless.

But again my son could play this game for hours and really enjoys it
My 4 year old son is obsessed with it and my 2 year old daughter is more than happy to watch and eager to play
Thought the game was ok, loved super Mario world on the 64 way way better
There’s an emphasis on taking your time, exploring, and just enjoying the world that the game developers made for you
My grandson is absolutely nuts about this great game - he's 7 years old and seems to know how to do just about everything to work his way through these mysterious yet nostalgic worlds - great fun -
Such a nice throwback to what makes a great Super Mario World game.
Great product but the only problem is to keep the switch in place they use elastic which sometimes gets stuck on the analog sticks but besides that it's perfect
It is, hands down, one of the best Mario games ever made, and one of the best 3-D Platformers I have ever played.
This game truly is the best 3-D Platformer I have played in years, even giving Galaxy 2 a run for its money; it is one of the very best games that our favorite Italian plumber has ever been in.
What an amazing journey, the best 3d Mario I've ever played.
This is one of the best games I have ever played and may be the best Mario game ever created (toss up between this and 64)
One of the best, if not the best Mario game I have ever played in my life
but I will chalk that up to nostalgia, but this is the best Mario game I've played.
Two player is a little wonky because it requires more coordination than most other games (one person controls Mario and the other controls the hat, which is instrumental in accomplishing certain things), so it slows down game play (at least for me)
This game is a great mashup of the old school mario games as well as a brand new story and version.
The main story is not that difficult and takes only a few hours to complete, however, once you "beat" the game it transforms and opens up new places in the levels you've already visited! As a child, you could play through the game and feel successful and enjoy your time, but as a more competitive adult, you can challenge yourself to collect all the "power moons" and unlock new games, outfits, and even new levels
The story is good, but nothing insanely unique for Mario
Great graphics, great gameplay, great story, great, great, great
The sense of adventure and exploration was the freshest I have felt in a Super Mario Bros. game for a long time.
and i find this disappointing as for a modern game console that could do much more then lame islands, Metroid Prime 3 did this too
The Gameplay really is about as close to perfect as you could hope for a 3-D Platformer to be!Verdict:

I enjoy playing my Switch games undocked but don't like have to remove the Joy-Cons and using the Switch's kickstand so the motion control thing was rather disappointing for me
Either the Joy Cons or a pro controller work great with this game
Just be aware that the controls are best using the Joy-Cons with the left and right grips
they way you intend him to because the Joy-Cons don't capture movements correctly
They are not easy to complete if you have the Joy Cons attached to the switch in handheld mode (all motion controls are easily completed when the controllers are detached)
