Overall I really like this device, the design is nice although I don't know how much wear and tear the fabric middle of it can take, it feels sturdy and it has a nice weight to it.
It was loud enough for entertaining in our large backyard, sleek design, and there was no problem syncing the phone to this.
good sound, nice size, but the on/off button and blue tooth button is a poor design and a little annoying
New design is beautiful with features like pause and skip (which my last UE speaker didn’t have) as well as easily pairing the two together

Buy this speaker for its good sound, good volume, simplicity, convenience and ability to use it MOSTLY carelessly around a swimming pool or dusty/sandy environments
The volume is incredibly loud for the size, and can be heard even with 10 people all singing loud
Sound is good and definitely loud enough, even at half volume.
It sounds great; the highs are clear without being shrill, even at louder volumes

For those that are complaining about the battery, you may have a defective unit.
Im probably going to get rid of my boat hardwired external speakers because they are exposed to salt, wet and weather and a constant connection problem issue plus this unit gives better sound then the marine speakers.
Ended up returning it to place I purchased it, who also confirmed the unit was defective (and not the cord).I'm writing the review because speaker was defective and Logitech customer support was completely non-supportive.
Not sure if this was the result of a material defect or a design issue, was very happy with the unit's performance until it failed.

You wouldn't think that such a small speaker, could make such a loud noise.
Nice speaker, needs a way to show what the battery level is besides the weird noise it makes when you push certain buttons a certain way.
Also, they make a lot of uncontrollably loud noises when turning them on or off and pairing them.
