Hook this thing up to some good external speakers,(I use a Peavey amplifier) and it is the neatest thing.
This thing is excellent to use as a remote microphone connected to your DSLR when Video recording, as a standalone microphone or for conferences, however it is marred by using a plastic thread at its base
