The product is seems great, its lighter than the conventional sticks
I paid a higher price for a clearly inferior product at Guitar Center.
A great product that is good for playing at a lower volume in sound-senstative gigs, while also retaining some sense of rigidity.
Got the same great pro-mark product for an incredible price!!!
These are a great product and I have to have them, however I have yet to see any prices on here that are so mouth-droppingly low that I have to buy them from Amazon
I prefer the regular hot rod size for easier volume control.
The Cool Rods and the Hot Rods (louder in volume) are great to knock down the volume and attack for playing at Churches
Meaning you can still play just about as hard as you would with regular drum sticks, but the volume will be noticeably softer
The Thunder Rods last alot longer (which is to be expected from the bigger dowels), and the volume they create is just right for small room practicing.
I play a modified kit in an acoustic trio, and I've tried a lot of different types of rods & brushes to find the right volume for my situation.
Bought these sticks to see if that might help and it definitely improved our sound quality.
Next time I’ll probably make my own for the price, but they are good quality.
Great combo purchase, bought them as a part of a gift for my co worker husband, great quality!
T-Rods are of good quality, but are much to heavy for what I want
these do as you would expect, i have to say they could be used as "proper" sticks (as in to use for gigs etc or at church etc) as they really bring out the brightness out of the cymbals and give a good warm sound from the tomsafter some heavy use they started to break as you would expect but they are definitely worth it

they are a good way to bring down volume without hitting softly
A great way to play and keep to a softer volume in a smaller venue.
They lack durability and cost a bit much for what they are, but it's a great way to keep the volume down
on some material i like the way they sound better then sticks.
Great sticks for practice and for playing live at church
These are great sticks but they don't seem to be lasting as long as they used to
I don't play hard at all, but I even manage to break one in half, literally! The advantage is that they are not as loud as regular sticks, and for jazz or blues, R&B or any other unplugged session that requires low(er) volumes on drums, these are awesome
They are comfortable, quiet, durable, and great practice sticks
So, it goes to show the smalls sticks begin to lose their tenacity, and with that, its volume and "heaviness" when hitting the drums
They offer a nice balance between sticks and brushes, dynamically speaking
They are quieter than regular sticks and they have a great feel/balance, but you can definitely make some noise with them if you want to

Durable, well-balanced and should definitely be in every drummer's stick bag
For a bunch of cheap dowels taped together, these are very expensive.
after enough rim shots and crashes the dowels break one by one
The dowels still tend to break somewhat easily but that's a fact of life
However, the individuals dowels splinter and break rather easily, and after only two months of playing each rod went from 19 dowels to about 10 dowels (and the change in sound and feel was noticeable).I recommend using Vic Firth's bamboo tala wands instead
