It seems to have adequate protection for my instrument but if I ever upgrade to a bigger euphonium I have a feeling I'll have to get a new case as well.

Hard-case would be safer :)

I do, however, find the case to be unbalanced and falls to one side in my locker

Being located in about twenty different far away places is not fun with a huge hard case.

Would recommend to any student players at an intermediate or advanced level (perhaps not beginners as for they do not yet know how to properly care for their horn and may harm it in a softer case).

if you plan to fly make sure this is your carry on as it's not a hard case but a more portable option

this is a fantastic case for my York 4052 Eminence Euphonium, it fits very well and has loads of room for extra music, accessories etc, it even came with a Protec mouthpiece pouch which is fantastic

We purchased this bag for our daughter to carry her instrument in, to school, instead of the solid heavy case that came with the instrument

It's much easier to carry that the hard case that came with his instrument.
