My daughter loves this case and the shoulder strap is a definite plus

The front compartment is easily accessible and can hold a piccolo case, two cleaning rods, a packet of pad paper, two cleaning cloths, two more cloths for the inside of your flute/picc, AND a metronome or tuner, all at the same time
The outside pocket is perfect for her cleaning cloths, cleaning rod and a pencil.
This case holds not only the flute case but it also has a compartment for cleaning rod and many other miscellaneous items.
I also like having the outside pocket available to hold my cleaning rod, metronome, flute stand, and any other items that can get in the way

The removeable strap is also useful if I have an armful or just want to not carry the case
