My daughter is a freshman at a local fine arts school and needed something lighter than her hard gator case to carry around everyday, so this 3 pound case (or maybe less it feels) came in at a reasonable price.

Through some clever design, the bow is lifted so that the hair of the bow does not come into contact with the case

This case was actually my first brand new one, and I have found that I prefer the half moon design over the oblong.

Like I said, the case is well designed for basic safety needs

Backpack straps feel good and love the space for my chin rest.

I was expecting top notch quality workmanship in this case from all the rave reviews and feedback from fellow musicians I know, but unfortunately the thread stitching on the velcro pieces throughout the case started coming apart after the first and second use

It is clearly a manufacturing defect and a poor quality product, and I hope I get a replacement!

This one is made of very high quality material, super light, and quality seems great

A little heavier than expected and a bit bulky, but protects instrument.

I asked my violin teacher to look at the case as I wanted his opinion on whether this case would protect my instrument.

She absolutely loved the color, the features, including the music pocket on the outside.

While I liked all the features of the case and it seemed well made, I could not fit my son's 3/4 violin inside without pushing it in.

I have found it to be very bulky and unnecessarily heavy, and I really don't like the backpack feature because it cannot be removed

The pocket is a nice feature - good for a chin rest, but not quite big enough for a Suzuki violin book.

On most cases the pocket is too shallow.

I love the extra pocket on the outside to hold my shoulder rest and other items.

My daughters full size student violin fits perfectly, with a nice pocket on the outside to fit her chin rest.

First thing I noticed was how light this case was compared to the hard-shell my daughter has.

So far, it has worked well and is significantly lighter than the hard shell case that came with the instrument we got through the school rental program
