The sound is amazing for a ukulele in this price range, good sustain, comparable to my solid acacia ukulele.

The sound is really good and it is fun and rewarding to learn.

The kit comes with a owner's manual and guide that includes a few chords and two songs (Imagine and Somewhere Over the Rainbow).There is a nice padded black nylon gig bag with a small exterior zippered compartment to place spare strings and a nylon carrying handle

It also came with a better padded bag and a nice little tuner and strap (and the ukulele has a bottom strap anchor already installed).

The bag will basically only protect it from dust - not the most useful case, but it works for my purposes

It holds it's own compared to many other ukes in the $100-$200+ price range, this is an amazing value!

My instrument came with sharp frets but I blame the very dry climate I'm in

The case is a great addition, and my son loves carrying his instrument like a backpack

This is a beautifully crafted ukulele, nice stripped wood grain top.

The wood is solid, and I'm not afraid of warping or cracking it during normal use

The mahogany wood is beautiful, and it is easily playable right out of the box once it is tuned

I always like when the dark and light wood grains invert as you shift the item around

I would recommend that you get this tuner, Korg PITCHCLIP Low-Profile Clip-on Tuner since the ukulele comes not tuned (strings are loose about 1 or 2 notes below correct tuning.

Like most stringed instruments, it doesn't hold tuning very well out of the box, but as the strings and wood stretched out and relaxed, the tuning became steadier.

For some reason, I couldn't get my guitar tuner to work with it, so I ended up finding an online ukulele tuning site that worked to perfection

It is appealing to the eye, lightweight, tunes easy and plays beautifully!

This is nothing more than a dust bag, so if you want to carry your ukulele around, you will need a better-quality, nicely padded or hard-case bag.
