If it just stayed at the same speed (even if it was the faster speed) it'd be far less annoying as we'd quickly get used to the white noise

Only complaint is when charging the MacBook Pro (87w charger) the fan does get fairly loud and it doesn't run at a consistent speed - it's constantly throttling up and down
