If you play in places with less than great wiring or grounding, or with neon lights, this is your baby.

If this unit is conventionally (safely) wired, then using any plug that provides part of an unbalanced signal on the sleeve, means the grounds are connected & this unit will not isolate properly, defeating the purpose of this unit

I opened this up and was pleasantly surprised to find small audio transformers inside that isolate the grounds in the signals.

Does not matter how good the cord is or how well grounded the amp is
