Pyle support was not helpful in resolving the issue

Good quality and value for cost.
If you have a pair of medium sized speakers or studio monitors, ie, the Alesis M1 Active is what I'm using them for, then these speaker stands are a good value

Sometimes is hard to keep speaker from swiveling too easy but not much of an issue
I researched for the perfect budget speaker stands for quite some time and these were the best bang for my buck
Had to go with the largest number as I wasn't sure how they would react with my tall weight-unknown speakers
not only does it optimize your workspace but it will also get your mind in a better creative space in my opinion just with these cool yet functional speaker stands.

I've decided I'm going with the Argosy Pair-XS36-B for my needs (much more expensive).
I can confirm the build is solid, haven't had any leaning or wobbling so far
Decent build quality for the very low price these are sold at.

I know this because after carefully screwing on the top plate, it came off in my hand - small metal cup and all.
The juncture between the top and bottom plate is a bad design and you risk the loss of your speakers
The top plates, fastened with only one screw, were missing essential washers, making them extremely wobbly.
The welds were off, the screw holes for the spikes were misaligned so couldn't be screwed in, the weld drops had to be filed down on the base to have them stand level, the top plate didn't instill confidence with one screw and bendable metal, and the whole stand was rather wobbly at anything beyond the base-plus-one-hole in height

That being said, they are very cheap, and the lockout pins give you confidence that it won't collapse (just don't bump the thing)
I cant say enough good things about these stands.
This things broke within a few months of having them
These things are solid have a very nice platform that will fit your surround sound speakers
