They are constructed well and create a stable elevated mount - but don't be fooled - any time you put heavy speakers elevated on anybody's tripod there is instability if they are bumped - that is just physics

When I used them with my Behringer B1520 Pro 15" speakers they were a bit tough to pull out of the speaker's sockets when we were tearing down, but the stands were new and those are pretty hefty speakers (66lbs/30kg each)

The second set had a minor issue out of the box, the top caps of the stands were both sunken in, as you see in the picture
I chose these because of the price and the reviews I'd seen here, but when I received them, both of the tubes were flattened on one side, and the top cap was sunken in and broken

fine Others indicated that the tops were damaged, my came delivered intact and undamaged
Only problem, as others have said, the carry bag was damaged during shipment and has holes ripped in the end where the poles gouged thru.
Well they came in but damaged from throwing them around.
