Why do I have to call Intuit support and ask them to generate a 'product key' for the payroll module, which was supposed to be included with my purchase

Sure, the other reviewers talk about how bad Intuit support is, but part of the blame must fall on Amazon for selling a downloadable product, then requiring me to call the software company to fully activate it

The product itself is great - except the new "Scheduled Reports" feature will NOT work (it keeps thinking my PC is running with high User Account Control settings, no matter how many times I switch them to their lowest setting) - I spent THREE HOURS on the phone with Intuit Support (in India), and got absolutely nowhere

Using QuickBooks as a single solution allows all costs to appear on bills saving reconciliation time, and many other very nice features (automobile mileage tracking), but without a bill that looks appropriate for professionals.

I really like Quickbooks but as as a very, very small business-I am the only employee, there are many features that i just don't use

BEWARE that Intuit will require a credit card on file for the Payroll Enhanced feature, even if you only have 1 employee that is covered by the program for free

After waiting on hold I got through to customer support, and was informed that I had to pay $150.00 for them to help me.

I was told that everyone who purchases the software has to pay and additional $150.00 for tech support.

When I called them to just cancel the tech support and cloud backup features I was told they cannot cancel a portion of it, that they would have to cancel the entire subscription and I would have to buy a new install disk

I had to call for tech support just to figure out how to add various credit card payments that were very easy to add in the previous version

So I had to pay an additional $100 fee to add their tech support and cloud backup service

Truthfully, it's 'QuickBooks 365 days from purchase' so when you at your business year end and it expires while trying to close out your books, Intuit insists on gouging you $384 for a few extra days in the year (as quoted by "Nolan" at Intuit today - 12/26/16)2) Software and your accounting information is held hostage if you don't accept their automatic renewal mid--December bill of $421 to keep the 2016 version running to the end of the year.3) Intuit, despite already being an owner of a copy QuickBooks, and only needing to update to the following year and continue using the software, insists on charging $416 for the payroll version of software when you can buy it BRAND NEW off Amazon for $287

So, while I know that this software is actually a very good software, I am unable to export several thousand sales records from the online version of Quickbooks into this

Customers spend hours after every upgrade trying to continue doing business with crappy software.

Only took a short time for the upgrade, including the most recent updates, and it works better than the 2015 version I had and does NOT crash on some reports like the prior version.

There is no end to the expensive updates.

I buy this bundle from Amazon every year mainly because it is nearly half the price of letting the auto-renewal from Intuit charge another year of payroll service, plus you get the free newest year software update for quickbooks

I called 866-223-5562 and cancelled my Enhanced payroll

The payroll by intuit that comes with this product is AWFUL!!

They will need to collect a credit card number for payroll fees, not the Enhanced Payroll subscription

So, I am requesting a refund from QuickBooks as Amazon will not refund your money.

Purchasing the combo pack for $190 allows me to continue my payroll subscription at a savings of $139 and the unused accounting software can be given away or forgotten without feeling like I've wasted money.

While I appreciate the ease with which most of my accounting and payroll is done with quickbooks since the 2010 version, it is overshadowed now by horrible, unintelligible customer service and pricing that keeps increasing.

Just proof that the company is obsessed with making the customer jump through whoops rather than making dealing with Intuit a pleasurable experience

This incident left an awful taste in our mouth regarding the company.

I have never dealt with a CPA that didn't despise the company but continue to use it for lack of a universally alternative to choose from.

Like a lot of people, I like Intuits products while despising the company itself.
