However it works, and does seem to keep the false alerts from BSM and radar CC down compared to my older detectors

I was losing my sanity with all the false alerts and at times just unplugged my old detector

He has a Uniden R1 which is a good detector with range however a lot of false alerts in the area where we live

when I contacted customer service they told me that option was only available for the higher end radars and not the SP.Performance wise is was on par with my old whilster radar, but big difference was how quite the radar was filtering false alerts

So far there have been no false alerts (unlike my older detector that had them quite often).

I have gone from receiving approximately 30 false alerts on my daily commute to around 2 a day.

I have yet to see a false KA alert.

I bought this radar detector for its claim of having the least false alerts

I conceive is that as a mid range detector there is no GPS feature memorizing false alerts.
