My phone is very secure for daily driving and has a rubber holder that you can put on your phone to secure it even more if you do any off roading or drive a motorcycle.

If you want a reliable phone mount that's easy to use, this is the best I've found.

Be warned, a large phone will fit snug so you may want to get the larger version of the X grip if you don't like taking your case off your phone all the time.

Was wary of it being suction mounted at first, but works great in my Wrangler JKU bouncing around offroading holding my Nexus 6POnly downside is with such a large phone the X grip maxes out just to fit such a large phone, especially with it in a case as bulky as the Supcase Unicorn Beetle ProAlso

Love the product otherwise.(As an aside however, I cannot understand anyone who'd trust their phone to a suction cup on a motorcycle, where it's exposed to wind, water, dirt and vibration, and if it falls off it doesn't just land on your knee

I bought this because I needed a good, strong phone holder for use with my iphone 6 (in an otterbox defender case) while using my tractor.

But it was unexpected that the substantially thick, pads that actually hold the phone would suddenly and one by one, fail.
