    • Great ram mount phone holder.
    • This is a wonderful phone mount
    • Also included was the rubber tether to stretch over the phone to secure the phone to the X-Grip mount.
    • Security piece hold phone tight, secure
    • , it’s super easy to attach the phone and very secure when riding
    • It does hold the phone and secure it.
    • An added bonus is that not only will it fit a 7+, but it will also fit smaller phones like a iPhone 5, 6 & 7.
    • good phone holder
    • I am delighted with how well it retains the phone with the case intact and provides complete flexibility for positioning
    • Love this item easy to install and it holds that phone like no other device I’ve had might order the larger one for my Garmin 7”screen
    • It has not lost my phone even once.
    • One of the best phone mounts for motorcyclesI loved it!
    • this product is great from bumps to high speeds but test the system on how secure in place your phone is before riding by giving it a sturdy tug in different directions after you set the phone
    • I was worried about phone coming loose and falling but no way holds very tight..
    • Works great on my bike..holds my phone securely
    • The vibration and limited wind (it's behind my windshield) don't impact or leave me with even the least amount of worry that the phone will break free.
    • My friend also lost his phone with the X mount
    • Best phone holder ever I have these in 6 vehicles they are the best
    • There's no way your phone is just going to easily fall
    • First off, this is the only mount I have used that feels sturdy enough to mount a caseless phone to the roll cage of an offroad vehicle and still does not vibrate or jiggle around excessively
    • Ram or nothing!Don’t risk your expensive phone or gear with an inferior mounting system!
    • Works great, especially if using different size phones, easy adjustment and the phone is very secure
    • Nothing will stop it from vibrating on a Harley, but you must use the included rubber stretch band that it comes with, otherwise you will definitely lose your phone, no matter what mount.
    • What I received was the producted pictured, which is a smaller mount, only able to fit small phones, like an S7, or an older iphone
    • The XL model is perfect for modern smart phones and doesn't push the side buttons like the regular size model does.
    • great phone mount
    • To secure cell phone while going off road in service truck .
    • I’ve hit some hard bumps and had it up to 110+ and my phones stuck like a champion
    • If I lose another phone, you can be sure I'll ditch this product and look for something else
    • Great for Holding large smart phone.
    • I ride a motorcycle without a windshield or fairing and almost lost my phone because the tether that comes with the system doesn't fit over a phone with a case

    • Holds phone tight and secure
    • Excellent phone holder for motorcycle.

    • F-250 and it's extremely good at holding the phone right where I want it.
    • I really don't understand how this holds on so well, but I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a solid, universal phone mount that works with pretty much every case and phone.
    • Broken Phone flew off my bike going down the freeway, I didn’t hit any bumps
    • Also, you have to place it just right or a big bump may potentially send your phone onto the pavement

    • At first I utilized the rubber security strap to guarantee the phone would not fall out of the X-grip
    • Only the best phone mount
    • Use on multiple motorcycle and holds phone great but can’t handle size of iPhone 10xr in otter box defender but works on smaller phones

    • Lost my phone on my MC when I hit a bump in the road
    • The phone fits great, and secure.
    • The mount works fantastic, however the X Gripp grabs the phone in a way that it compresses the buttons all the time , either shuts off the phone or turns up or down the volume.
    • It will hold your phone to your bike, no doubt, but can be a little irksome at times
    • So if you have it facing you to use GPS, the phone will rotate about 10-20 degrees and your phone is crooked.
    • But I love this cradle holder because I tested it and shook my phone while it was in the
    • It is solid, stable and secures my phone better than my previous one.
    • This is a very small complaint as when I position it how I want, even on rough off road applications, the phone wont move, until I bump it with my hand or something that is usually user error anyway
    • works well but you need the tether to hold the phone so it does not fall out
    • Good size for the Samsung Note 4 (ancient phone but still works great)
    • Good size for the Samsung Note 4 (ancient phone but still works great)
    • Great phone holder so far
    • is that the side pieces can interfere with modern phone volume and power buttons
    • in first off road trip, bumpy washboard roads, rocky hill climbs and in general a lot of bouncing around that would normally have sent my phone to the floor either because the suction cup failed or the phone holder part could not hold onto the phone.
    • Then on our last SxS trip I rode with some people that had these mounts and their phones never budged, totally secure
    • Bumps can't get your phone out of it.
    • The problem is that with this LARGE XGrip holder (there are two XGrip phone holders available - large and small), the points where the holder makes contact with the phone are right on the phone's controls, so it's either going to be right on the volume buttons on one side and the power button on another side, or over the sound on/off switch.
    • Then I busted an $800 phone
    • The phone can fairly easily twist about 20 degrees while mounted.
    • On the first one I owned the rubber piece fell off and I lost my phone
    • Phone is very secure to unit
    • I use it on my motorcycle in every weather and it keeps my phone secure.
    • Best for smaller phones lost phone off bike because rubber broke
    • so I tried other things that I thought would leave the phone more secure on the handlebars
    • Best phone cradle that I have used yet
    • Seriously considering ordering one for my dirt bike so I could actually carry phone in emergency, phone is that secure!!!!
    • It's designed so your phone is easily secured in the grips and easily removed.
    • Other than that the rubber banding helps to secure the phone properly
    • Have not lost my phone yet
    • Holds the phone ok, but you'll want to get some additional means of securing the phone to the mount as vibrations will cause the phone to drop.
    • if you have a larger smart phone or multiple users dont waste your time and money on any other mount
    • the mount is great, it's sturdy and holds the phone securely, highly recommended
    • Sometimes I fell like my phone may fall off
    • Boy this holds my phone nice and secure
    • The best phone holder I have ever had that is functional
    • I've had this six months or so and had no issues until I lost two phones in the last two weeks.
    • this broke my phone in about 500 miles of mostly bump free highway riding......
    • I have often put the phone in without the rubberized sheet (wraparound thing, whatever it's called) and the phone feels secure
    • rubber material used to secure phone into x grip is too small to stretch to all 4 corners of an iphone 6.
    • I did lose a phone in the creek on my KLR when I hit a submerged rock with the skid plate.
    • I’ve broken cheaper phone mounts that had suction cup or tape on bases
    • I lost my phone on the highway due to poor placement.
    • a large Samsung S7 Edge smartphone, I trusted Ram products to securely hold this expensive phone
    • Needless to say, my phone was completely destroyed
    • Once the phone is locked in and if you don't need to unlock it, it works great.
    • I just don't feel like my phone is safe in this holder.
    • Very nice phone holder
    • Great quality great versatility holds the phone very tight
    • I almost lost my phone a few times on rough roads.
    • This is the best phone holder I have ever used.
    • worst thing ram could've made,, bought this last year installed it on my hayabusa and had to replace my phone , the rubber pieces vibrate off and your phone, after $350 plus getting the ram spring holder
    • So far, the spring loaded arms secure my phone on my atv, even over very rough terrain
    • My cell phone (Samsung S8) works very well with Google maps (if cell phone coverage), or Avenza maps app for using imported USGS maps
    • My cell phone (Samsung S8) works very well with Google maps (if cell phone coverage), or Avenza maps app for using imported USGS maps
    • Must say how annoying it is to hit a bump and have my volume turn all the way down or my phone tell me to swipe to power off
    • I use this to hold my iPhone 8 Plus while riding my V-Strom and have no concerns about losing the phone at all
    • Works as advertised, has held my phone securely on the motorcycle, so 4 stars since the phone is still with me.
    • Tether that comes with it fits tightly and secures the phone even more
    • I watched my phone wiggle free and fly like a frisby and bounce down the highway, luckily I was able to find the phone and it wasn't damaged
    • My phone has never fell off
    • Well that room allows your phone to swivel left and right
    • Very easy to slip the phone in and out, but seems like it'll hold the phone rigidly enough when the roads get bumpy
    • Best phone mount you can get for a motorcycle!
    • I have been up to 80 mph and the phone was held secure and tight.
    • Sturdy with no vibration keeps my phone in place on my Can-Am
    • Definitely suited for a smaller width wise phone.
    • some of my video camera rigs where I use my phone as a monitor would highly recommend
    • this with the other Ram Mount parts is a great phone holder that can be adjusted to find the right angle
    • Holds my phone very well
    • Finally my phone is safe
    • Best phone
    • Great Phone Holder
    • Seems like no one else has this issue but the phone can fall out so just beware of that.
