This unit makes routing simple and easy,,,, unlike the competitor it will located fuel stops, parking ect along your route of travel.

it routes you on some very strange routes and some are not very truck friendly. with use and more knowledge it would be ok

It will often plot a route many miles out of the way to avoid going through a city when there are no restrictions.

Compared to my Garmin 465t and 560 dezl this product is a dream come true, it has much more accurate maps, speed limits are by far more accurate, road restrictions are spot on, routing is a far sight better than either Garmin, and the truck services info (poi's) are accurate and easy to work with

routing is bad it goes off the main route for instance, I'm going west on route 9 in Framingham MA and it tells me to take a left 1/2 milebefore I-90 which is a right entrance,then it comes on and says the road it told me to take a left

It gives the absolutely most inefficient routes without fail and regularly changes routes for no apparent reason only to return to the original route seconds later.

Many truck stops have been closed, moved, or rebranded (ie Wilco-Hess -> Pilot, etc), and Walmart parking data is often wrong.- Doesn't route around traffic unless it's within 30 miles of when you first started your route (therefore useless for a truck driver).- Reports several routes as truck weight-restricted, despite not being the case- Map data is over a year old now, is increasingly missing entire highways in Missouri, Ohio, Indiana, Alabama, and Kentucky, to name a few.

but it more than makes up for it in accuracy and features such as fast routing, the poi's, Tell Rand, and the wifi

The only thing more sublime is being subjected to the litany of "sharp curve ahead" warnings throughout your 2 mile "smart route".

It's not quite like a cockpit, but has a ton more info than most GPS units, including things like elevation, and an ability to tell Rand if there's construction somewhere, or traffic, or a weight limit for trucks, plus an ability to track your gas mileage, your favorite routes, whether you've driven more than the allowed # of hours (per DOT regulations), a calculator, a notepad functionality, and a few more things that are honestly just overkill if you're not a truck

As always, plot your route, read every sign.
