Must punch three then flip the paper and punch the other three

The first paper I tried on it left black ink stains on it.

and you just pull it out until you see yours, punch one side, then flip the paper and punch the other side.

It does punch A5 size, make sure you watch the instruction video, it shows how you have to position the paper to punch the first set of holes, then flip the paper to punch the second set of holes.

I have to turn paper around and punch again to get it to fit in my planner.

Works great, you just can't put more than 5 or 6 sheets of good paper in, they will get stuck.

It wasn't an issue to flip my paper over and punch the holes for large sized papers, but if you do not wish to do this, then this punch is not for you

You pretty much have to readjust after each punch, and this wastes times and paper as it would take several attempts to get it "just right".If you use A5 6-ring filofax style planners/journals, do not waste your money on this particular punch

It also punches thick papers and acetate very well as long as you can slide it into position, it will punch.

However, to make it work I just messed with the guide placement a bit to get it where I could punch the paper one side at a time as instructed to find the right position where I needed it

I can punch my refill paper, but I have to do it one side at a time using the extendable ruler

since you have to turn the paper to punch the second 3 holes, sometimes they are not aligned correctly

I wasted so much paper with this
