If you're a longtime fan or have never played the series before, either way this is a great buy, and you'll get a lot of value considering the time you'll spend playing these (especially if you go for all the extras, which can over double the playtime of each game)

Worth the buy and you get to unlock more trophies and who doesn't want to have the most stars on their profiles.

But I was so impressed now with the 3 remastered HD games that I honestly think this series (first 3 games) is better than Sly series and even the Jak and daxter series (I also own the other two collections)

Overall, the collection is worth picking up if you are new to the series - in particular, new fans would do well to play Up Your Arsenal, as that is where the series really finds its footing - or if you are looking to have a complete collection of PS3-era Ratchet & Clank games.

A few times the camera will get stuck under the floor or in front of the character making it impossible to see what you need to see, and then you will need to completely stop the game and go back to the PS3 home menu before going back to normal gameplay.

The variety came from a number of tastefully implemented elements that broke up the gameplay, including using your Trespasser gadget to crack hi-tech locks, using Clank to control miniature "Gadgetbots" and solve puzzles, piloting starships in intergalactic battles, and even transforming into a gigantic robot to get into some arena-style combat

There really is no negative in any of these games: great characters and locales, beautiful graphics, and super fun gameplay.

(Ratchet's space helmet in cutscenes from GC and UYA, some players having occasional freezing at points, issues with how meters appear on the screen, and whatever you do, don't go right back into single player after playing multiplayer in UYA, unless you want to permanently disable the weapons wheel pause).

All told, the diligent gamer will get 40+ hours out of this compilation on the first playthrough (there's also a "new game+" challenge mode for each game), while the obsessive player could tack on another 10 or more hours before revisiting the games via challenge mode.

5/10it plays well and can be fun blowing up enemies but when the camera and glitches arise, getting you stuck, sending you back a few spaces or check points, it can get annoying having to do it all again

You lose the bolts that you could gain by just knocking the enemy out, but it has saved my bacon on more than one occasion

Along with the squished screens, Ratchet's helmet floats inches off his head, some enemies just die before you get to them, and there is slowdown in the two "Open World" sections of the game

worthless.i also see a patteren with upgrading, stronger weapons take a very long time even on a new planet with tough enemies, while weak weapons upgrade incredibly fast.. why cant they all upgrade fast
