The build feels flimsy and cheap, the cable is thin and bends too easily, the hard plastic finish feels grimy, theres no macro buttons on the left side of keyboard, the keys are not the same green switches
Solid metal frame with good build quality, keys are satisfying to
The stabilizers on larger keys like space are good too, feels less mushy than the Cherry equivalents.-Overall pretty nice build quality with the metal top and decent weight to the board.-Media keys are good, especially the side adjustable volume knob
Blackwidow Elite ReviewGreat keyboard, very response, comftable, and well built
The price now and days are a bit cheaper, slimmer build, and better build quality
The way the keys are activated so easily is perfect for fast paced FPS games and for precise mmos and rpgs the keyboard is also perfect for typing it feels effortless and the clicks just makes me want to type more.
If there isn't a reasonable way to resolve this issue, I will be force to request a return - this keyboard is defective and unusable as it is
Another thing is the volume wheel, it will turn your volume all the way up or down randomly without even touching it
He loves the way the keys feel and that you can do so many cool variations of the lights
Oh, this keyboard freezes as if there is a key being held down, I'm not able to type, until I move the volume, then it will work again.
It's very useful and helpful to not have to deal with the sound issues and be able to talk again without loosing the quality of being able to reactively game in competitive situations or needing to own multiple keyboards.
Otherwise the throughput sound port it offers kills sound quality, unfortunately, and the controls to music don't always work (because the razer synapse is having bugs right now, but if we can't use it without the synapse
The keyboard looks and feels of good quality, the keys are not so silent as we were expecting since it has the orange switches
While I was not expecting to have the build quality on the same level as the more expensive versions, it felt closer to what I would expect out of a $40-50 keyboard
Nice build quality, keys feel nice, and the cables are good
I love this keyboard, the colors are bright and the available effects are awesome
I just want either a static color or no color, but this does not seem to be possible (please correct me if I'm wrong) and the default is to have it cycle through colors
Orange switches feel great, colors are bright, works as expected
This means that in any color scheme requiring the color blue the light is either off-color or just dead
But, the colors are so bright and it’s definitely clicky
The lighting behind the keys is bright but not annoying
The greatest keyboard I’ve ever used, the slick black design feels great on my finger tips, and the lighting isn’t that bad
The only reason its not 5 stars is how dim the lighting is
I love the keyboard and LED lighting, it's fast and accurate...wish more parts could be replaced!
The keys are nice and responsive, and there are some decent lighting options available (though you have to download Razer Synapse to customize your lighting).I did find that the volume knob was really bad for a keyboard at this price
I love this product and will continue Using razer products.
First mechanical keyboard for my self, love the light, and the clicky feel, good product .
Right off the bat this particular product is really loud as expected for something with a green switch
Overall this is a great product and it is a good keyboard just be aware that it is not quiet.
Razer should take a key play from Logitech and allow cross-platform usage of their products in full (i.e. Chroma) without limiting the product to a specific OS or limiting to what feels like a specific key mapping
and I love the changing colors and the "click" sound of the keys!
Approximately 80% of the switches on my board give off an obnoxious metallic ringing sound that vibrates and resonates long after the key has been pressed
This keyboard just ain't itCons:-I can hear the springs very audibly, very annoying spring sound when you press on the keys sometimes
For gaming I think it's very nice, the sound of the keys are really nice
The keys are clicky and really satisfying but not obnoxious sounding
Even for me as a gamer, I think the rebound noise is excessive
a 5/5.I have a 4/5 for gaming, because when you game you tend to repeatedly press the same button over and over and with this rebound noise it becomes annoying really quick
Because of the rebound noise of the keys slamming up into their reset position, i have to get rid of it
good i like
I hope you like it as much as I like mine and thanks for taking the time to read my review.
The wrist wrest is also hard plastic, which is common enough in gaming keyboards, but several other brands at this price point will at least give you a cushioned one
Oh, this keyboard freezes as if there is a key being held down, I'm not able to type, until I move the volume, then it will work again.
I'm happy with this keyboard it fits perfectly on my hand, its not feeling cheap plastic like a lot of keyboards!
Hoping this will last me a good long time and I will update the review if needed down the road.
Amazing response time with the keys and great RGB for aesthetics
I hope you like it as much as I like mine and thanks for taking the time to read my review.
Since I can just buy this one back anytime as the price is NOT LIMITED TIME.UPDATE 2: Welp, my "Limited Time" Price of $139.99, from just 10 days ago just went to $99.99 today (2019-12-02).
So I wonder, did they put "Limited Time Price" on a price that they KNEW they were going to lower by about 30%, just so they can trick as many people as possible into buying it at the higher price?
(And no, it isn't the tactile click that's artificially added to many mechanical keyboards to the point of sounding like a manual typewriter; this is just the key bottoming out super loudly.)Furthermore, the brightness of the illuminated letters on the keys isn't *bad*, but it certainly isn't anywhere near as good as it could or should be
The per-key RGB works well, the spacebar is slightly crooked but that is probably from changing out the caps and having to put back the factory caps
The spacebar is partcularly loud and the springs in the switches reverb A LOT.On top of the fact that there is no tactile actuation, at all
It cannot be overstated how important a spacebar is and when it stops working well, your productivity, gaming, etc all suffers horribly.

Chalky texture on keycaps - felt like typing on a chalk board at first, though it seemed to wear down a bit after typing on them a while* ABS keycaps - not as nice as

The only thing i wish is that the space bar wasnt as loud because my friends always conplain because it sounds like im banging my desk with a mallet
