Reviews around feedback (5.00 of 5)

  • The green switches have a great feedback and give you that clickity goodness.
  • It also has varying effects such as a wave of light when you reach your ultimate as well as when you activate it
  • The force required and the actuation point seems to be exactly the same, this is only the audible sound and tactile feedback that I can tell is noticeably different
  • Mechanical feedback is great, the lighting and software is great, it looks great!
  • The feedback is better than the Brown switches, and the keys make a very noticeable "click" at the actuation point

Reviews around switch (4.53 of 5)

  • The effect is just plain awesome, more so when the lights are out, and in my mind, this makes it worth the price of entry even if the key switches were cheap
  • Otherwise, what is recommended is either brown or clear switches
  • They suck so much," take it with a grain of salt because you may be one of those people that prefer these switches.
  • If you like very, very nice lighting, clicky switches, just want a barebones tank of a keyboard with no gaudy frills, this is for you.
  • I love the metal base and the green switches have that satisfying clicky

Reviews around sound (4.47 of 5)

  • I love the sound of the mechanical keys and I believe any gamer would
  • I love the sound of the clickey keys, and the chroma is amazing
  • Ninja). The only thing I like is that the click sound is pretty fun to listen to, very mechanical
  • The keys are blue or what Razer calls "green" and offer a very weird clicking when you press the key half way down which I liked the sound of, but I did not like that it clicked half way, I wanted to to press all the way

Reviews around feel (4.45 of 5)

  • Best keyboard I have used... the feel of it is just amazing and the software is super easy.
  • This keyboard is probably the best keyboard I’ve ever used and I mean that the colors are vibrant the keys feel
  • But I can't complain, the feel is wonderful and anyone who complains about the noise of a mechanical keyboard after intentionally buying one doesn't deserve to be taken seriously
  • Oddly enough it has had two unprompted compliments from people about how they "love the feel of typing on it".
  • Green keys are definitely loud and clicky and have a good feel to them

Reviews around build (4.40 of 5)

  • even though it might be loud, its very sturdy and well built.
  • Extremely well built, and holds up well to the amount of typing I do every day
  • even though it might be loud, its very sturdy and well built.
  • I love the sound of the keyboard, I love the lighting effects and how they can be customized, and I love how well built the keyboard feels
  • if you want a compact keyboard (numpad-less) , solid built

Reviews around metal (4.33 of 5)

  • more than average keyboard having said that I’m glad that razer took this approach instead of using common plastic for the top cover which covers the metal plating which Defeats the purpose for me personally
  • Stay away from this keyabord unless you like a rusty mess on your desk, it seems Razer used a cheap metal alloy of some sort that rusts so easily the slightest scratch will cause it to rust or at the edges cause that's where it's most vulnerable, not to mention the paint and coat they uses is a fingerprint magnet on top of being super scratchable
  • I love the metal, as it's cool to the touch (preference)
  • Solid metal construction without the terrible finger print smudges everywhere.
  • but I love the military grade metal on this keyboard and all the lighting

Reviews around effect (4.10 of 5)

  • I love the sound of the keyboard, I love the lighting effects and how they can be customized, and I love how well built the keyboard feels
  • However, the effects that are available in Synapse are still great.
  • The effect is just plain awesome, more so when the lights are out, and in my mind, this makes it worth the price of entry even if the key switches were cheap
  • (Though, if I wasn't rating the keyboard at 1 star already, I might have to subtract at least part of a star because the "Ripple" effect is limited to just one color, not a rainbow like Razer portrays on the product page
  • Also, it has some cool lighting effects you can customize or download some of them from the forums

Reviews around quality (4.07 of 5)

  • They key feel is great, build quality is pretty much like a tank, and the lights work well
  • Overall (Okay, 3/5): The great build quality and key response are not good enough to overcome the glaring problems with this board for a 4-5 star review
  • They key feel is great, build quality is pretty much like a tank, and the lights work well
  • Certain buttons didn't not work straight from the box, terrible quality
  • Custom Razer switches combine with a HEAVY keyboard base to bring to life a quality product that I actually miss when I have to use another keyboard

Reviews around color (3.95 of 5)

  • The keyboard seems decent, but I found the constantly changing colors of the keyboard to be very annoying and distracting
  • the colors are great the keys are priority not behind the key so this keyboard really makes the letters pop
  • The quality seems good and its really cool (customizable color backlighting)
  • This keyboard is probably the best keyboard I’ve ever used and I mean that the colors are vibrant the keys feel
  • The colors are bright and beautiful and highly configurable

Reviews around light (3.71 of 5)

  • Mechanical feedback is great, the lighting and software is great, it looks great!
  • The lighting is nice but you would expect that at the very least
  • Did have 1 defective led light but returned it and got a new one in 2 days, very good customer service
  • If you like very, very nice lighting, clicky switches, just want a barebones tank of a keyboard with no gaudy frills, this is for you.
  • The lighting is pretty cool, it's not functional at all, but it's a nice to have.

Reviews around thing (3.61 of 5)

  • You know, I am by no means an expert, but NOT making the damn thing cloud based should resolve these types of issues and make it run faster
  • I feel like I could take this thing to a bar fight and kick some serious butt with it
  • when i tilted the keyboard,it's like there is a small thing fell inside the keyboard , i turned up side
  • Not a bad thing really, but it is quite a bit more fatiguing if you plan to type a lot on this keyboard
  • I was still weary about it because I have heard bad things in the past about QC and rapid switch

Reviews around click (2.94 of 5)

  • is 2x louder than any key and has a weird click to itoverpricedI
  • If you're not familiar with blue switches, that means that there is a tactile "bump" when the key is activated, along with an audible click as the spring actuates
  • The click is significantly louder than I was expecting, so this keyboard is not a good choice for quiet environments
  • but I give it 4 stars because a few of the keys are going dull if that make sense like the click is wearing
  • The keys are blue or what Razer calls "green" and offer a very weird clicking when you press the key half way down which I liked the sound of, but I did not like that it clicked half way, I wanted to to press all the way

Reviews around pad (1.69 of 5)

  • The reason I got him this particular one, was because he wanted a keyboard without a number pad due to limited space on his desk and this was perfect!
  • killer keyboard personal regret that i didn't get the full keyboard with number pad
  • We are paying a lot of money, and I think a simple detachable wrist pad should come as an option with these keyboards.
  • It is missing the number pad; which can be bad for some games like G-Mod and other sand box games that incorporate it, but I manage without it
  • It also has varying effects such as a wave of light when you reach your ultimate as well as when you activate it
