However, the display is nice and has a 2 setting dimmer, the size of the display is nice and easily readable.

Display has nice glow that doesn't glow like a night light, but is easily read from three feet away.

One reviewer thought the display isn't very bright and that is true but for a bedroom, I thought it was adequate.

The clock has a nice dimmable display with two alarm sets which is what we use the clock for at this time.

* Has battery backup capability (battery not included) which, per manual, only lasts 8 hours on an alkaline 9VIn sum, the poor display is a deal-breaker for me.

Other than that, the unit has fine quality, the USB charger is a nice feature for those that need it, it has a nice big display, and it works as advertised.
