The larger size (32 Liter) letter or legal hanging file boxes have been quite sturdy, without any bending or cracking of the plastic despite the fact that I store them at the bottom of a stack of other boxes.

Of note, a stack of standard 9 by 12 inch magazines can lay flat in this box without wasting room at the edges or any risk of sliding around horizontally inside the box.
