At stock they come assigned to their numbers and i believe math functions to use as a number pad

The number pad is amazing as it is not going to be pressed on accident but it will not hurt your thumb after a long day of gaming

then my Mac updated it's OS and the number pad on the mouse no longer works... and the drivers are for windows only

This was a wise choice for me as this fits my hand better the side key pad works out better than the naga the tracking/dpi is leaps above the naga and to top it off the finish is just wow

If you play a game like that, you'd better work out your fingers or get a mouse that doesn't require much effort to be put into the number pad.

, the number pad took a little getting use to as I purchased this mouse after my Razer Nagah developed the infamous double click issue but after a little use I quickly adapted and am now a huge fan.

Grooves that dip on the number pad are great, helps find keys quick once you're used to it.

The number pads can all be individually customized to do a specific function (open mail, apps, close windows, etc)

My son has a Razor mouse with the number pad on the side just like this one, and we both prefer to use the Redragon

The D.P.I setting are easily accessible and even has an L.E.D color setting that comes right in the disk where u can customize your number pad color

I have never used a mouse with a number pad on the side but it's really useful and also works with regular typing.

The lighting is simple and easy, although a color changing effect would be nice, and it has replaceable Teflon pads for when they wear out

Maybe it's just me though, the designers did try and elevate it up some as to keep you aware of where it is
