so it is a good idea to have them protected for lighting strikes/electric outages.

Our power can fluctuate (a lot) in Costa Rica and having these on many of our appliances, including 2 refrigerators is awesome

Very disappointed in this device, I cannot plug the refrigerator into the surge protector, I tried other 3 prong plugs nothing will completely go into the plug in, area.
