I'm not sure if this is an old design and the quality of their newer gates has gone downhill, or if they've listened to feedback from customers and this gate is a new and improved design

How can you go through all the effort to develop CAD files and design a product, and leave it this poorly designed

Bad design, and difficult to fit into different widths of doorways or stairs correctly.

Used at top of stairs and bottom, design isn’t bad

There has been significant design changes between the old and new

I’m guessing using springs instead of locknuts might’ve been a better design (but I’m not an engineer)
