You probably shouldn’t install the gate at the top of the stairs only bottom end for safety issue.

I wouldn’t want it for stairs or a toddler as I think those would be safety issues.

I use it just as a pressure installation without the cups screwed into the wall because even if the gate fell it would not be a safety issue.

Not as sturdy as id like it to be but does work great.

Pressure mounted doesn’t hold up week not recommended for stairs as it leaves a metal rod running through the bottom so the whole first step is deemed useless, also when using the extension pieces the entrance way is very

My son loves to come up to these gates on the stairs and shake them as hard as he can (11months 24 pounds)

Only thing that slightly annoys me is that you have to pull back the lever to shut it as well as when you open it.
