I used this gate to separate a spirit cat from my friendly cats

The cat made it easy to integrate a scared and defensive cat into our household

It works well for that, my cats do not jump it

Using to separate alpha cat from sick cat she stressed out

I bought this because I have cats with very strict and opposing diets

I got this to keep my cats out of the living room since they like to scratch the couches

But the gate for a girl friend of mine who is moved in with me and then decided to go back to her boyfriend because she had a cat and to protect the cat against my dogs so now I'm stuck with a gate not happy

Purchased to be used as a baby gate as well as to keep our small dog out of our back rooms

I’m not going to lie, the directions aren't exactly as easy as

Not as sturdy as I would like
-
n’t know how it would work for a child
-
n’t have children but never would trust this with a child, especially near stairs
