Regalo Easy Step Extra Tall Walk Thru Baby Gate, Includes 4-Inch Extension Kit, 4 Pack of Pressure Mount Kit and 4 Pack Wall Cups and Mounting Kit

    • Very safe, no pinchable parts, and the latch is very easy to use.
    • I tried locking both sides of the little flip down switches at the bottom as well to keep it locked if he opened the latch, and that worked, for about 5 minutes
    • The bottom latch to the gate is easy to move with a dog snout.
    • The second latch seems perfect as of now, but there are specks in the paint finish
    • The top latch is faulty
    • Only cons i have is the bottom latch it locks and cant leave unlock or the baby can shake it and breaks the top latch to open and close
    • The latch is very easy to open but you can use the lock slide to make it more secure for little kids
    • I like the item but don't like the fact of after two weeks the latch is already hard to lift to open the gate
    • The non-broken parts of the gate all seem fine (though the latch at the top feels pretty cheap), but the absence of customer support from the manufacturer and the assembly instructions that guide you to configure the gate in a way that makes it non-returnable before checking all latches makes this a very risky item to buy
    • The latch to open it is secure but also user friendly
    • The latch that opens and closes the opening is easy to use.
    • The latch is accessible for older children/ adults which is wonderful
    • The new latch is stiff and makes it difficult to open
    • Only cons i have is the bottom latch it locks and cant leave unlock or the baby can shake it and breaks the top latch to open and close
    • The top latch is faulty
    • other than these 2 issues, installation was simple, the gate is sturdy, the gate holds well into the wall and the latch is complex enough to keep the kids in and easy for adults to get out lol.
    • The latch isn’t as easy to use as the other gate we have
    • I can see that being very dangerous for a child the latch is very easy to open and if you push the gate more firm it doesn’t open at all as the the latch gets stuck
    • Unfortunately, something broke inside both latches so that what used to be an easy lift action now requires an awkward vertical lift and simultaneous horizontal latch pull.
    • The latch is easy enough to open with one hand while balancing dinner for the whole family and a drink in your other gate-latching hand
    • The latches are easy to use when you quickly need to walk and open and get to the other side unlike some others that require you to stop and use 2 hands to fleet it open and closed
    • Everything about it perfect, the height, the space between the bars, the latch, relatively easy to install, it only has one big flaw, you can’t close the door
    • Seems nice and sturdy and the latch at the top is easy to use.
    • Shame because I liked the opening latch, overall make, and material.
    • The gate in general is actually pretty well built, but the latch is terrible.
    • had one i bought 3 years ago and the latch was MUCH better than the kind they use now
    • The latch on the top is very easy to lift with one hand as well making this gate awesome
    • Was easy to install and works great after a few weeks of use, the latch has gotten harder to move
    • Top latch has a safety catch to keep from easily being opened, and bottom has 2 catches as well that are flippable
    • You can use the latch in a simple way or in a two handed pull-plus-lift stronger latching way (like when you have human toddlers)
    • Decent gate with a pretty good latch
    • It was indeed tall, sturdy, latch is easy to use with one hand
    • the latch that I have up to make the gate swing the way I want just falls down which prevents the gate to swing at all or it falls when opening which prevents it from being closed
    • We have it as “loose” as it goes without being unlatchable, yet it grinds and sticks
    • Purchased to be used as a baby gate as well as to keep our small dog out of our back rooms
    • I’m not going to lie, the directions aren't exactly as easy as
    • Not as sturdy as I would like
    • n’t know how it would work for a child
    • n’t have children but never would trust this with a child, especially near stairs
    • n’t disturb my senior cat when he eats and potties
    • n’t think I would trust the sturdiness with a pre-toddler or older child though.
