If I bring it in the house and hard wire it I can find it with the default settings. including no password!Minus one start for the issues and another for no response from the vendor

Within minutes it was hooked up hard wired and producing a picture

The only feature that seems to be lost when hard-wired is two way communication, specifically the microphone function.

The camera comes with a connector for the hard wired CAT-5 cable but doesn't come with a cap to protect the connections from the rain

I suspect these cameras would do better with a hard-wired connection and may rewire my house to accommodate them
