    Resident Evil 4

    • I thought it failed miserably in this aspect, and felt that Capcom could have done a much better job tweaking the controls in this game
    • I love the Wii controls and don't know how I ever played it otherwise
    • The controls, though strange at first, are quiclky mastered and feel natural
    • The controls are easy, and the game is very entertaining.
    • For those who don't like using the new controls, I believe the classic control can be used
    • The controls are smooth and easy to use.
    • The controls were a bit frustrating for the first chapter but for the rest of the 20+ hours I was playing
    • The controls are really fun to use and can you really beat the price
    • the only problem i found annoying are the controls
    • RE4 is a great game, non-stop action from beginning to end, if you played the GC or PS2 version before you can play this one again because of the great new Wii controls for pin-point shooting accuracy
    • I will say that I prefer the GC version and controls over this version.
    • Fun story and the controls are challenging just enough.
    • The best resident evil game with the most functional control scheme, packs scares, puzzles, a rpg like gun leveling system, everything was perfect, easily a recommend for anyone.
    • The controls are perfect, the game is long and it provides great replay value with all the bonus content like mercenary mode ect
    • Unfortunately, Capcom ruined the Wii version with a poor control layout, and included no option to remap the buttons
    • Good controls and story line
    • The controls and view were enough to make me return it since I would almost surely never play it again.
    • The controls are weird and not shooter friendly
    • The controls and mechanics in the game run super smooth
    • Visuals and music combine for an immersive experience - Great, natural control scheme for moving and shooting - Wide variety of weapons, each with its own use, leaving you the fun of using the ones you prefer (though there are a couple of short sections which are much harder if you don't use a rifle with infrared scope
    • The new Wii specific controls work great; aiming with the Wii remote is smooth and satisfying, and it adds a new experience to an already great game
    • The controls here work well, though, but it's the fact that this is the fourth time the game has been released.
    • But the controls are buggy
    • Even with the fantastic Wii controls and affordable price it's going to be hard to tell those who own the Gamecube or PS2 versions to get this one.
    • Now, in case you want to avoid the intuitive motion controls of the Wii Edition and instead are looking to play `old school' like, this version also allows you to use the GameCube gamepad
    • But the action definitely came through later and the controls were perfect once you figured them out
    • The plot is good, controls are entertaining
    • I'll tell you right now, the controls themselves are surprisingly quite intuitive
    • The Wii controls work
    • The game's controls are exactly like that of its predecessors with 2 minor changes that make the game a whole new world
    • Basically, the game features "tank controls" which may initially frustrate you in today's world of intuitive, responsive controls
    • The game is decent... control of Wii this game is not that great
    • The controls are great, the story is solid, and it's not too easy or too difficult.
    • The reason was the horrible controls.
    • love the action and the control over the character
    • The controls can be tough at first, but you will get use to them
    • The controls, however, absolutely destroy the gameplay
    • Capcom rereleased this game with these more accessible controls so that I was able to finally experience it.
    • I loved the Wii controls for shooting the bad guys.
    • I played it for a bit but could not get past the horrible control scheme for the Wii and the extremely claustrophobic camera view.
    • The game was phenomenal on Gamecube, was still phenomenal on Playstation 2, and now it's gotten even better with pin-point accurate Wii controls.
    • From a technical standpoint, these are now the best versions available of this awesome game, but I still would have to admit that for an overall package, the Wii version offers more gameplay value due to the inclusion of (good) motion controls; it just falls short in visual clarity due not not being output in HD (the download versions do not have higher resolution textures, only the overall output is high definition, the actual assets remain unchanged).
    • I hated the controls, the lack of ammo, and thought the game was overly difficult
    • (I've played the GCN and Wii versions extensively, the Wii version does not have any slowdown in framerate compared to the original) and it has the best controls
    • I found the controls very easy to master
    • The controls work beautifully, but I found that using both the Wiimote to aim and the nunchuck to adjust the general camera direction was a bit challenging.
    • and I threw the game away after trying to master the controls for 1 hour
    • Great game challenging controls on Wii version
    • Terrific game, controls, and high replay value.
    • The Wii version is even better thanks to improved aiming and "context sensitive" controls with the Wiimote.
    • Just a heads up for people who are considering buying the blaster with this game, you may want to pass up that offer unless you have other shooters or your looking for a very difficult control challenge.
    • How much better can a great game get with superior controls
    • The controls are PERFECT.
    • It utilizes every aspect that the Wii was meant to provide, while defeating all the shaky control issues that seem to pop up in every other game.
    • the control is much better in the wii version than the Game Cube version.
    • Together (as the control stick controls your view, while the WiiMote controls your aim)they feel like a sort of Dual Stick set up except more intuitive and easier to use than the traditional Cstick method
    • The controls work excellent and you will become proficient rather quickly.
    • The controls, though strange at first, are quiclky mastered and feel natural
    • The controls are great and the story is exciting.
    • This was the first Wii game I ever owned out of my now 20+ game collection, and it is still my very favorite!Game control, shooting accuracy, cut scene movies, voice acting, everything - was perfectly done
    • it was not a bad game, but the switch to the Wii control scheme COMPLETELY changes the feel of this game, making shooting easier and all other movement harder, a perfect control complement to the themes of the game
    • Cons: controls were not the best.
    • The controls are really good
    • The good news is, the controls in RE4 are straightforward and (I think) easy to use
    • I love the controls the most of any game I think I've ever played
    • The controls work really well and it's a nice step-up from the previous versions of the game.
    • The controls are smooth and pretty easy to master
    • Seriously, fun game, the controls were perfect.
    • The controls are excellent; you move Leon with the nunchuk, and shoot and aim with the remote
    • Playing this game on the Nintendo GameCube, you'll notice one clear difference, the flawless amazing controls have now been replaced by the atrocious Wii Mote and Nunchuk controls
    • But anyway the controls in this game are perfect when using the Wii remote because aiming and shooting is so satisfying and it even vibrates; which I really like
    • A couple reviews I read complained about difficult controls, but I thought the Wii controls were much easier to use than the previous RE titles I played on GameCube.
    • The graphics are good, the controls are easy to master.
    • The Good: Superb graphics, atmosphere, and revolutionary control setup, great use of the Wii, has all the best parts of other portsThe Bad: Graphics are starting to show age, nothing new, no downloadable contentI played RE4 to death on the PS2 and now I'm going to on the Wii
    • The controls are great, with the ability to switch between classic and Wii makes the game 10 times more playable especially when fighting certain bosses.
    • The game is detailed and well-executed, but it's just too difficult, especially on the Wii with its slightly weird control method
    • Some dislike wiis motion controls but it adds to this game
    • is that while the controls are good at aiming, much of the potential was wasted on clearing some hurdles that the series is known for
    • : The controls are actually pretty responsive, but there are some times where you need to waggle the Wiimote in order accomplish some things
    • I was expecting the controls to be like that particular level in the Link Crossbow game where you use the gun accessory, and you pivot the view based on the target cross hairs, and you move based on the joy-stick on the nun-chuck
    • Capcom needs to realize that the Wii deserves more true Resident Evil games because the Wii has the best control setup for them
    • The controls are THAT good
    • biggest gripe is the controls.
    • The graphics and visual are top notch and the controls are really fun to use and you cant really beat the price
    • (and the kind of action that will be tough to match with conventional controls)Pros:*It's RE4...'nuff said*Incredibly intuitive control scheme
    • The action is intense, the controls are precise, and it's simply addictive.
    • the wii controls very well as well as allowing the pro controller and even has ngc controller support if you prefer playing that way
    • Playing this game on the Nintendo GameCube, you'll notice one clear difference, the flawless amazing controls have now been replaced by the atrocious Wii Mote and Nunchuk controls
    • The new controls are great, they make the game a little easier, but they also make it twice as fun
    • the controls are so accurate, I rarely need the rifles
    • I have tried and tried to master the controls, but you can't because it limits you.
    • No, in fact those controls were quite good and very serviceable
    • Cons: controls were not the best.
