that involves a lot of psychological gymnastics by way of the Holy Spirit
Her way of representing how fear and our egos keep us from the Holy Spirit and truly feeling love is explained so well
I love the Holy Spirit centered practices this book introduces and it’s surprisingly in line with paradigm shifts.
The tools are Christian-based and point to healing ourselves and others (A Course in Miracles) through the power of the Holy Spirit
Marianne and A Course in Miracles approaches a non-denominational or inclusive return to God (Allah, Budda, Mother Nature..) and love - our Holy Spirit
I’ve read a lot of amazing self love and spiritually expansive books, but this one is definitely one of my favorites
But, A Return to Love can be used by all because it is a manual in becoming whole and renewing the face of the earth with genuine love, kindness, understanding, honesty, and peace
This book is pure love, explained

One thing I wanted to add is that I have been using the “prayers” from the book (I just make them secular) as they seem to be a good way to ease anxiety and emotions when faced with difficult events or thoughts
Its greatest benefit to me was to help me see how often I unconsciously choose ego over heart, limitation over expansion, fear over love as a way to look at my life
This book has just changed my entire way of thinking in a most profound way.
A must read to anyone seeking to live life a better way.
God has always been a challenging topic for me to think about, but this book has a slick way of making it more digestible

Godlessness and isolation produce fear--fear of change, fear of reality, fear of relationships, fear of the unknown
With personal, often intense stories, the well- known interpreter of The Course in Miracles also shows how Godlessness can make us crazy
Like Williamson's other books and audios, this one straddles the divide between the Christian and Buddhist ways of looking at spirituality, while speaking of the pain of self-awareness and relationships with a vocabulary everyone who suffers with depression, self-loathing, and conflicted relationships will understand
As is her habit, the author delivers her well-traveled message quickly, with great earnestness and with a depth of human understanding that is seldom equaled in this audio category
