A little more than a month later, the spider plant is absolutely thriving -- easily tree times the size it was when it arrived

Arrived in good condition seems healthy, good sized, big root system.

I received a decent size plant they looked very healthy.

So far it’s thriving outside, it has new growth, a few new shoots and nice color

It is a small starter plant, for about a 4" pot, but you won't find a better buy.

I gave it the correct water (I have a meter) and proper light.

By way of details, I have it near an east-facing, gauze-curtained window (which isn't the optimal lighting) and water it fairly lightly (2-3 cups) when the surface soil is dry to the touch

removed it and placed in indirect lighting... looking wonderful after a few days, a drink of water, shot of fertilizer and good indirect light...

The plant itself was OK, but I could not understand why it started wilting in a week, though I watered it regularly and it had enough light

You don’t have this sort of bad quality in the plants I’ve purchased before so getting a normal buy-it-anywhere Plant should have resulted in great great plant not this half-dead thing.
