Great customer service after the sale, and to me that alone equals 5 stars!

Yet another reason why vendors really should make every effort possible to get software issues resolved before releasing products, or risk negative reviews and lost customers in the meantime

I am writing this review to warn unsuspecting customers from getting ripped off.

If you're looking for an easy setup and installation, this is your device.

Instalation was easy, with enough (plus some extra left over) cord for the rear camera for my four door truck and mounting the rear camera was not hard, very straight forward installation

Installation of the front facing dash camera was incredibly easy

Recent purchase, installation and placement relatively easy

Installation was easy and it captured this collision yesterday

This is the best dash cam I've purchased and have used for sometime

If you are looking for a good Dash Cam, then I would say go with this one

I used to have a cheap Auto-Vox dash cam that worked great for 2 years

It's true it's expansive cam dash, but the quality not bad

In the image referenced above, the stamp where it should say "REXING DASH CAM and optionally a license plate number is partially blanked out.

My rear glass is privacy tinted and the video suffers for it, I could mount it on the outside because its water proof, but would take work to run the wire through the lift gate, not ready to do that yet and would also have to clean the lens from time to time from dirt and road spray if it was on the outside.

The main camera has been working fine, but rear camera died a long time ago, less than a couple months after purchase

The unit I received worked for a month and then died, but the Rexing customer service was very prompt and sent me a replacement.

As far as the windshield mount, camera installation was a breeze & works great

The front camera has an amazing resolution and is working very well.

I also found that I would find a device and that it would be outrageously priced or priced so low as if to scream "cheapo product steer clear

Other than that, it's a great product at a very reasonable price.

In my newest unit, the video from the rear camera is not as clear as the video from the front camera

This camera, along with the rear camera, takes great video, both in daylight and at night

Updated 3/31/18A few weeks ago, I noticed that the rear view camera was horribly out of focus and when I checked on the camera, it had literally fallen apart

I seem to have the same resolution as the more expensive cameras, the software works great, and a far better price point.

So, after checking multiple sources it seems that these cameras are prone to failure and software issues

The cheap ones seem to have poor resolution and spotty software.

I had used the generation 1 of this camera for a year, until it failed, and these were my impressions:The camera works fine, except for one software problem and one important design flaw and the fact that the rear camera is of useless quality

Also, some of the 3 minute segments start with about 20 seconds of glitched video; it's not that bad but seeing squares in the video jump back and forth through time while it starts the new segment is a bit strange.

and I used it, on the 1st couple weeks it seemed working fine ( thats in Dec. ) , So I stopped checking the camera assuming everything is fine, today I had some accident and to my shock the same problem

Very useful in south Florida where people do stupid things on the road all the time

There is slot of crazy things to see on the road around

I find myself transferring all of the close calls and crazy things I see onto my computer just to show people for fun

Instead of rexing doing the right thing and sending me out a new camera,and including a return label,they want me to print up a label they sent me by email ( which is going to be a pain since I have no access to a computer or printer,just my phone), send this one back to them and wait till it gets there and then wait while they send another one out

I was not able to make out the license plate number of any vehicle stopped behind me at traffic lights.

It can't see color and isn't clear enough to see a plate number of a car behind you at a light.4

The issue is the adhesive for one of them, it keeps falling off the windshield

The only issue I had with this product was the adhesive

My only complaint is the adhesive on the rear cam is weak

Was a bit apprehensive about buying dash cams but after buying this one I may only to with this brand

Front camera gets a bit loose on its mount and vibrates at times.

It was a bit tricky getting the rear camera routed through the car (Subaru Forester

Hard wire kit and fuse link made it so easy to install.

I then wired it using the hard wire kit and the radio reception improved.

Appreciate the fact the manufacturer has thought it through to provide enough wire length to comfortably run the wires through for the rear camera and hiding them completely out of sight

From the rear window of an extended cab pickup to the unit attached to the windshield, I had no slack and had to leave some wiring exposed because there wasn't enough wire to adequately tuck into moldings

Plus the rear camera comes with a white sticky pad, which didn;'t really stick that well, and makes it very noticeable

The sticky pads to attach the device and secondary camera failed shortly after install

The adhesive pad that holds the camera to the windshield has failed multiple times, leaving the camera dangling from the cables

The Dash Cam is great, but the adhesive part has lost its grip and It was professionally installed 2 weeks ago.

after having this new one installed for 2 months, the adhesive backing came off the spot on the windshield, somehow it lost its grip and fell down, (this happened while parked and when i returned i found it this way) while also pulling off the casing for the GPS tracker attached to it exposing the internal part of the tracker, while also pulling out the wiring that was tucked above the roof liner, which was pulled down as well, could not get that back up where it was, so i had to take it back in and get that reattached
