This is my second dash cam, the first one went on a truck and the back window is flat and the back camera works great .. this one went on a sedan and the back window is curved

Easy to set up and install front camera, rear one may require more work and time depending on the car if you want to keep harness hided, for my car which is an small hatchback with rear glass moving with rear door when opening, it was little complex and haven't installed yet.

I seem to have the same resolution as the more expensive cameras, the software works great, and a far better price point.

but an update fixed it and the unit that I got worked great

The front camera has an amazing resolution and is working very well.

As far as the windshield mount, camera installation was a breeze & works great

After a couple of months of using this dash cam, the camera works really well, the videos are sharp, clear, even during low light level conditions

The main camera has been working fine, but rear camera died a long time ago, less than a couple months after purchase

It was working absolutely fine for the first two months and i was satisfied with overall performances

I love the camera and it has worked well for me on a 1300 mile trip recently

Additionally, while the front-facing camera works well, the screen is not good, and unless you are looking directly at it in perfect light, it's impossible to see anything on it.

Also to top it off he camera stopped working and the screen went blank after months

I purchased super strong Velcro that I cut to fit and this works great

I powered it off and plugged it to a 120V source and didn't have any problems, looks like it is working now

The camera set up had been working great however just under a year after purchasing it, the camera would no longer power on automatically every time the vehicle was started as it did before once.

My rear glass is privacy tinted and the video suffers for it, I could mount it on the outside because its water proof, but would take work to run the wire through the lift gate, not ready to do that yet and would also have to clean the lens from time to time from dirt and road spray if it was on the outside.

I had an issue with one unit, but the second unit works great

Took a firmware update and reformatting the micro card a few times but has worked great for better than a month now.

The unit I received worked for a month and then died, but the Rexing customer service was very prompt and sent me a replacement.

 The video works great, but I'm having issues with the sound cutting in and out

Installed this camera about one week ago and it is working great so far

I never leave reviews and want to be clear, if I can get these matter solved or fixed so my cameras is in proper working order again, I am happy to change my review fully

So far this dash cam has been working great with no problems for the 1st week I've had this

Other than that, the front camera works properly, quality is nice in the daytime, and license plates are clear

Front camera works great, back cameras quality is okay but not great

The bottom line is that the front camera when it works works well, but the life span of the unit is short

Contacted Rexing and after some quick troubleshooting they shipped me a replacement unit, which has been working fine so far

100% perfect, works exactly like it

My opinionI do not know if there are any software updates yet , i plugged this unit unit in and its has been working fine out of the box

I perched 2 of them other than that easy instal works like it should
