Love the built in WiFi and accident detection!Great camera quality

The camera works well

I got 2 of the V1 units during the PrimeDay deal and received an e-mail earlier this month from Rexing providing me with this unit for an honest review

I bought this because it was the only brand with a rear camera, built-in GPS, and large screen (to review videos before downloading) that had great reviews on multiple sites

I am installing this unit in a small SUV - so while the included cable for the rear camera is certainly long enough to snake around (up and down around the molding) - it's not a neat installation.

Power cable was long enough to plug into center console and route under the carpet to the dashboard, then over and up the door trim to the headliner for a clean installation look

So while I certainly don't doubt that Rexing will send me a replacement unit (their customer support really is excellent) and the next one will be OK - they wanted an honest reivew

The wifi link app works well for viewing live and recordings on tablet or smart phone.

And being able to download an app to my smart phone to change settings and review the videos is a huge upgrade.

The upgraded design/shape makes the camera much better aiming to and facing the front road than the original V1 and the angle of the camera is now adjustable with much greater flexibility

The optional settings provide great flexibility, but the default settings are really well designed.

Rexing connect:I love the fact that I can easily transfer my videos straight to my phone

Not sure why the video when played in the software player is a bit blurry when it is also displaying map speed etc

Takes great video day and night.

The video was clean and crisp, same with the audio, I am thankful this has a GPS feature

The video is very clear and you can see license plates while driving with it

I am using the Rexing hard wire kit to power the V1P Pro.

That makes hard wiring more difficult and an unexpected puzzle to solve.

My only real issue is not with the camera but the hard wire kit purchased separately.
