Most people complain their LED lights (or anything which is adhered with 3M tape like this) don't stick well... in my experience, a clean, dry, smooth surface is the key.

Do follow directions for pre-cleaning surface (and warming if necessary) for best adhesion.

I prepped the surface properly and cleaned both the strips and cabinetry with isopropyl

Took apart a Surface and it worked to put it back together and hold everything tight.

Be sure to clean all surfaces with rubbing alcohol before you apply the tape, or it may not stick.
